Her previous victory was on the fourth of April 2025 with Peru, a 3-2 friendly over Cuba in Lima, secured by Gladys Dorador’s double and Mía León.

Peru then lost all four at the 2025 Copa América in Ecuador, to Chile 3-0, Ecuador 3-1, Uruguay 1-0 and Argentina 1-0, finishing bottom of Group A.

She led Levante from August to October 2025, recording one draw and 10 defeats in 11 matches. This year began at Corinthians with a 3-2 loss to Palmeiras at Arena Barueri in round three.

The latest win came via a Gabi Zanotti brace plus goals from Erika and Andressa Alves. It preserved an unbeaten run at Neo Química Arena of 31 games, 28 wins and three draws, with 80 scored and 18 conceded, averages of 2.58 and 0.58.

Corinthians last played in Itaquera on the twentieth of February this year, drawing 2-2 with Fluminense despite a player advantage, a result that led to Lucas Piccinato’s dismissal after a spell starting in 2024. Lima’s side visit Botafogo at 19:00 on Friday at Nilton Santos in round five.
