Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has received a huge boost ahead of facing Leicester City on Saturday lunchtime with five stars returning to training.

All five players have had some issues in recent days and weeks, so to see them all back in training this week is massive for the Blues head coach and the fans too of course.

EXCLUSIVE! Premier League club make enquiry to sign Chelsea player that could lead to swap deal seeing striker going the other way!!

Chelsea make the trip to Leicester for the lunchtime kick off game in the Premier League on Saturday, and it is a game that will see Maresca return to familiar terrain.

He was of course the manager there last season and the one who led them to promotion back to the Premier League, so there might be some mixed feeling for the Blues head coach on Saturday.

The full focus will be about winning the game though and really, it is a game that he really must win if he wants to continue challenging for a top four spot this season.

Big boost

Wesley Fofana in training yesterday

As seen in various media posts yesterday and as I have also heard myself, Chelsea had Jadon Sancho, Filip Jorgensen, Levi Colwill, Cole Palmer, and Wesley Fofana all back in training yesterday after all of them have had issues this week.

Colwill, Palmer, Jorgensen, and Fofana all pulled from their national call-ups to rest at Cobham after having knocks to deal with after recent league games. But it seems that all of them are now fine and should be in contention to play on Saturday, which will come as a big bonus for Maresca and the rest of the team, with all of them being key players.

You’d expect Palmer and Colwill to slot back in as starters for this game, and Fofana will hopefully be able to join Colwill in the back four as he has been this season.

It will soon be go time!
