Chelsea are reportedly now advancing in talks to sign former Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez, according to ESPN.

The Blues are already being linked to possible new summer transfer targets and actually, I’ve had info on a huge shortlist of players that they are courting ahead of the summer window, which I have been releasing exclusively on my website over the last 7 days or so.

It is clear that Chelsea are now done with their squad build yet and will be looking to add more players in the summer transfer window. They flirted and teased about adding new players in the winter January transfer window, but that didn’t happen in the end, with only a loan recall of Mamadou Sarr from Strasbourg that saw a new addition to the squad.

The summer window is always much longer though and clubs are always way more willing to get deals done in that window rather than in the winter.

According to ESPN ArgentinaChelsea are now ‘advancing’ in negotiations for Julian Alvarez, after holding talks with the player’s representatives earlier this week.

SPN journalist Jorge Baravalle says:

“I insist, people are talking about a lot with Barcelona and Arsenal. But I’m being told that the team slowly moving forward is Chelsea. Chelsea, quietly, are advancing for Julián Álvarez.

“I’m told there are conversations. In fact, part of the agency handling Julián’s transfer was in London this week, watching Chelsea v Arsenal.

“They know both clubs want him, but what I’m being told is that, as of today, the most advanced contacts are with Chelsea.”

We’ve some across some surprising Liam Delap stats that shows he is actually beating Enzo Fernandez, Joao Pedro, and Estevao Willian in one key area in attack.

Meanwhile, Pedro Neto had a pretty poor showing in terms of the data against Wolves on Saturday afternoon, despite the Blues winning the game comfortably in terms of the 3-1 score line away from home.
