Europe, we're coming – RBL are back! | OneFootball

RB Leipzig are back on the European stage, having achieved one of their objectives for this season. 

The Red Bulls now hold a 17-point cushion over seventh place after their 3-1 away win at Eintracht Frankfurt. SC Freiburg can cut that gap to a maximum of 16 points if they win on Sunday.

New target: the Champions League

There are still 12 points left to play for in the final four games. That means Frankfurt and Freiburg can no longer catch RBL, and we can already start looking forward to plenty more European nights next season.

What remains to be seen, though, is which competition our team will be playing in. At the very least, a place in the Conference League is already secured. Our next target is therefore crystal clear: finish the season in the top four and book our place in the Champions League.

A reminder of some great RBL moments in Europe

In what is only our tenth Bundesliga season, it would already be the eighth time that we have qualified for Europe’s top club competition. Over the past decade, the Red Bulls have become regulars on the biggest stage in European football.

We still look back fondly on our run to the semi-finals in 2020, when only Paris Saint-Germain were able to stop us. We have also reached the last 16 on three occasions. Next season, we want to build on those achievements.

For now, the message is simple: keep our foot on the gas. There are still four huge games to come - let’s give everything together over the next few weeks!
