Everton Transfer News: Al-Hilal Ready Move for Iliman Ndiaye Amid Contract Uncertainty

Everton may soon face a decision they would rather avoid. Al-Hilal are preparing to test the club’s resolve over Iliman Ndiaye, with the Saudi Pro League side lining up an opening move for the Senegal forward.

Ndiaye still has three years left on his current deal at Hill Dickinson Stadium, so this is not a contract crisis. It is, however, a situation with obvious risk. Talks over an improved and extended agreement have yet to produce a breakthrough, and when that happens, interest from elsewhere quickly becomes more than background noise.

The key point is simple. Everton do not need to sell, but they may need clarity. Ndiaye recently made it known that Champions League football is part of his long-term ambition. That does not automatically push him out of Goodison’s orbit, but it does frame the issue. If a player sees his future at the top end of European competition, Everton must either convince him of the project or brace for serious bids.

Iliman Ndiaye interest grows in Saudi Pro League

Al-Hilal are moving aggressively in the market and Ndiaye is viewed as another marquee addition. The club have already added Crysencio Summerville to Simone Inzaghi’s squad and are clearly not slowing down. For Everton, that matters. Saudi Pro League clubs have shown they can change the tone of any negotiation very quickly.

Ndiaye, 26, remains one of Everton’s most valuable attacking assets. He carries threat, unpredictability and resale value, which is why any approach will be watched closely inside the club.

Everton contract talks leave room for pressure

The unresolved contract position leaves Everton exposed to pressure, even with three years remaining. That is the reality of modern recruitment. If a player is important, clubs either tie him down properly or deal with growing market interest.

There is also a familiar thread here. Idrissa Gueye, Ndiaye’s former Everton teammate, has now ended his second spell on Merseyside and is set for a one-year contract with Al-Diriyah. Saudi clubs are shopping with intent, and Everton have every reason to expect this Ndiaye situation to develop quickly.

For now, the ball is with Everton. Hold firm, open fresh talks, or listen. Those are the options. Al-Hilal are about to force the issue.
