Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden reached a milestone in midweek after reaching 100 goals and assists in the Premier League.

Foden set up goals for Antoine Semenyo and Omar Marmoush in City’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace, to pass a century of goal involvements in the top flight.

The assists were Foden’s 100th and 101st goal contributions as a Premier League player, a feat which saw the 25-year-old join an exclusive group.

Foden is just the sixth player to reach 100+ Premier League goal involvements for the Cityzens, and the first academy player to do so.

Sergio Aguero holds the record for the most goals and assists for the club in the Premier League, having scored 184 times for the Blues, with 47 assists. Aguero’s 184 goals are part of a club-record total of 260 scored in 380 games across all competitions.

Erling Haaland is the only other player to have passed 100 goals in the Premier League for City, while Kevin De Bruyne is the only player to surpass a century of assists.

Foden’s century has been brought up by 68 goals and 33 assists for his boyhood side, a contribution that has helped towards six Premier League titles.
