Benjamin Pavard and Piotr Zielinski are “one step away” from returning for Inter Milan, while Yann Bisseck is “to be evaluated.”
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan take on Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League in less than a week.
Naturally, the fitness of key players will be a major factor heading into that final.
Inter were missing a couple players due to injury against Como in Friday’s Serie A season-ender.
Benjamin Pavard was still on the sidelines with an ankle sprain he suffered at the end of April.
Meanwhile, Piotr Zielinski had pulled out of the squad due to a slight muscle problem.

Meanwhile, during the match against Como, defender Yann Bisseck had to come off the pitch due to a physical problem.
Therefore, there was a worry that the German international had suffered an injury. This could very well compromise his availability for the Champions League final.
According to the Corriere, Pavard and Zielinski are “one step away” from making their returns to training.
There is no rush for the duo to get back on the pitch. They will certainly not want to take any risks.
However, the feeling is that both Pavard and Zielinski are right on track to get to full fitness for the Champions League final.
Meanwhile, the Corriere reports, Inter are still waiting on conclusive updates regarding the fitness of Bisseck.
However, the feeling is that the German’s injury is certainly nothing serious.
