Ex-Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe to stand trial over alleged assault

Ex-Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe will stand trial in July accused of assaulting a woman following a hearing at Croydon Magistrates' Court.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the 30-year-old pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm after an alleged incident in Lambeth on 14 December.
The case was heard on Friday six March and lasted 13 minutes, with a trial date of 14 July fixed.
Ibe was released on conditional bail and ordered to return for his trial. He was arrested at Luton Airport on 30 January and was charged last month.
The winger, from Chislehurst in Bromley, joined Liverpool in 2012 and made 58 appearances before spells at Derby County, Birmingham City and AFC Bournemouth.
He featured 92 times for Bournemouth between 2016 and 2020, is a former England under-21, and now plays for Lokomotiv Sofia in the Bulgarian First League after two years in non-league football, signing in November 2025.
