Liverpool are likely to have another busy summer transfer window.

The Anfield outfit have been poor this season and, without a few new faces being brought in, they'd probably do even worse next season.

Arne Slot has massively underdelivered this season and, even though fans are wanting him to be sacked, that doesn't feel like it's going to happen any time soon.

So, with this in mind, it feels like it's time for fans to focus on the areas of their team that need strengthening.

Several concrete rumours have already been shared and now, one of the Reds' targets have seemingly decided where their future lies.

Eduardo Camavinga wants to stay at Real Madrid next season

Eduardo Camavinga is one of many long-term players that Liverpool have been linked with.

The Anfield outfit are in dire need of some reinforcements with Camavinga's versatility also a massive boost, especially after the number of injuries that Liverpool have suffered this term.

However, despite being left of of Alvaro Arebola's plans on more than one occasion this term, it seems like the Frenchman wants to stay and fight for his place at the Bernabeu, much to the Reds' dismay.

"It’s always a pleasure to play at Real Madrid and a dream come true," he said in quotes relayed by Fabrizio Romano.

"Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to be here.

"Now we have to think about winning next season."

Even though Camavinga has had a few poor moments throughout his career, he's been fairly solid during his time at the Bernabeu.

In fact, his former manager Carlo Ancelotti even dubbed the Frenchman an "extraordinary" player thanks to his performances for Real.

The fact that he's only 23 years old and can play multiple positions make him an absolute steal for any team willing to take a chance on him.

Indeed, others such as Adam Wharton and Elliott Anderson have been linked with potential moves but since they'd both probably cost upwards of £100 million, their fees seem a tad steep.

This leaves Richard Hughes, Michael Edwards and Slot in a bit of a pickle as, without a new midfielder or two being brought in, there's no way that Liverpool will be any better off next season.
