Corinthians have received an additional R$ four million from sponsor Ezze Seguros for their fourth Copa do Brasil triumph, on top of the R$ seventy-seven million prize from the CBF. The payment was made on Thursday.
The company said in a statement that the sum is a performance bonus set out in the sponsorship agreement, active since early 2024 and detailed at its renewal in November 2024. The award was presented to the club’s board during a ceremony at Parque São Jorge.
Club president Osmar Stabile attended alongside Ezze’s commercial vice-president Diego Azevedo and executive vice-president Ivo Machado. Also present were the insurer’s finance vice-president Bruno Cals and marketing manager Henry Soares.
Stabile described the partnership as central to Corinthians’ restructuring and beneficial to both parties, adding that the bonus acknowledges the work of everyone involved.
Machado called the Copa do Brasil success a boost for the season, said Ezze are entering football with intent and stressed Corinthians’ vast fanbase and long history, reaffirming support for the Timão.
Ezze’s logo has appeared on the upper back of the men’s shirt since late 2023, and also features on the women’s team kit. The contract was stated as valid until the end of 2025, with an expectation of renewal.
