As the 2025/26 season unfolds, Arsenal lead the FA Cup roll of honour with 14 wins, Manchester United follow on 13, with Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham each on eight.

According to Hounslow Herald, the competition, founded in 1871, blends shocks, heartbreak and legacy building like no other.

The Gunners' bond with the Cup was cemented under Arsène Wenger, the record-winning manager with 7 triumphs. Their most recent success came in 2020, and the trophy has often provided solace during transitional spells.

United's dramatic 2024 final win over Manchester City lifted them to 13. Their Cup story spans the 1999 Treble to the rise of Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho, underpinned by a refusal to yield.

Chelsea have eight, despite a run of early 2020s final defeats. Much of their haul arrived in the Abramovich years, reinforcing a modern habit of collecting silverware.

Liverpool drew level on eight with a penalty shootout victory in 2022. From Bill Shankly to Jürgen Klopp, they have turned finals into spectacles, not least the 2006 Gerrard showpiece.

Tottenham also have eight, famously winning as a non-league side in 1901 and building a cup-specialist aura through the 1960s and 80s. Their last triumph was in 1991.

The 2024/25 campaign underlined the Cup's allure, as Crystal Palace lifted their first major trophy by beating Manchester City 1-0 in the 2025 Final.

Attention now shifts to the 2026 Final on 16 May, with the question of whether Arsenal or United add to their totals, or a fresh name emerges.
