At the moment, the MLS or the Saudi Pro League seem to be the most likely destinations for Salah.
The Saudi's have been vying for the transfer of the Egyptian King for many years now with his potential transfer being seen as a major coup.
However, since the attacker is now available for nothing, several clubs from the MLS have been linked with a move for him with Fabrizio Romano sharing a fresh update on Inter Miami's stance.
"My understanding in this case guys is that Inter Miami are not in negotiations to sign Mohamed Salah," he said.
"Despite the reports, despite the stories, Inter Miami are not focusing their efforts on Mohamed Salah."
Even though Salah may be past his best, it's still going to be incredibly hard for Liverpool to replace him.
The winger is one of the best finishers in the world and his ability to skip past players with ease will certainly be missed.
His performances throughout the 2025-26 campaign have been far from ideal with some fans even excluding him from their best Liverpool starting XI's this term.
Indeed, players such as Rayan and Francisco Conceicao have been linked as potential replacements but, since they're both so young, it's unclear whether or not they'll be able to live up to expectations.
The best example of this is Florian Wirtz. In the Bundesliga the German was one of the best players in the league which is why the Reds chose to spend around £116 million to sign him.
However, due to the physicality and quality of England's top flight, it's taken him a lot longer to adjust and, with Liverpool wanting to challenge for the Premier League again next term, they need all of their player at the top of their game.
The 2026-27 summer transfer window is certainly going to be an interesting one and, with the number of clubs vying for Salah's services, it's hard to see when this saga will come to an end.
