The best photographs from the terraces at City's dramatic late win over Liverpool.

A sell-out crowd witnessed a dramatic late 1-0 victory at the Joie Stadium, which moved City within touching distance of the Barclays Women’s Super League title.

Rebecca Knaak was the Blues’ hero, heading home in stoppage time from an Alex Greenwood corner to earn all three points.

City had struggled to get going in the first 45 against a resolute Liverpool side, but looked more like our usual selves after the break.

But despite Kerolin and Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw both forcing a fine saves from Jennifer Falk, it looked like we’d be held to a goalless draw at the Joie Stadium.

However, Knaak’s late intervention proved the difference to maintain our 100% record on home soil this season in the WSL.

It was a gutsy performance and a grandstand finish from City, with an atmosphere from the stands more than befitting the occasion.
