Fans voice anger at Copa final prices for Atlético v Real Sociedad | OneFootball

The Copa final on 18 April, Atlético v Real Sociedad, has already stirred discontent over ticket prices after Real Sociedad released price bands on Friday. According to AS, anger has grown among both sets of supporters.

Each club will receive 25,680 tickets, 80% of the capacity. Real Sociedad said 21,838 of theirs will go to members, while Atlético will allocate a near identical amount, corresponding to 85% of their share. Demand is extremely high.

The cheapest seats cost 89 euros but there are only 451 in that band, roughly 2% of the total. A further 17,017 are priced between 115 and 179 euros, and the remaining 8,212 are from 179 euros upwards.

It means most fans face paying more than 150 euros just for a ticket, before factoring in travel and accommodation.

Atlético have not yet published their prices, which will be practically identical, although the ends differ. The club is expected to set out its allocation on Monday.

All this comes amid stadium issues at La Cartuja, which might host a Betis Europa League match two days earlier.
