Francesco Farioli is on holiday in Istanbul with his family, fuelling chatter about Fenerbahçe, but he remains committed to Porto.

According to O Jogo, the Italian was seen at an Istanbul airport on Friday, prompting speculation he could be in talks with Fenerbahçe.

A photo of Farioli at the airport circulated on social media today, edited to focus solely on him, which amplified rumours in Türkiye.

The Porto head coach, who won the Portuguese title, will continue in charge into 2026/27.

Turkish businessman Hakan Safi, a candidate for the Fenerbahçe presidency, has repeatedly expressed interest in hiring Farioli, but there is no prospect of that happening.
