FC Porto confirm sale of Ángel Alarcón to FC Utrecht | OneFootball

FC Utrecht have exercised the purchase option on Ángel Alarcón’s loan from FC Porto, the club said in a statement.

The Dutch side have acquired his registration and 50% of his economic rights for €2 million, with no intermediary involved.

Between September 2024 and January 2026, Alarcón made six senior appearances for Porto and 28 for their B team, scoring seven goals and adding three assists.

The move underlines Utrecht’s faith in the young forward, who arrived in the winter window from Porto seeking more minutes after limited involvement under Francesco Farioli.

He impressed early in the Eredivisie, providing an assist on debut against SC Heerenveen. Soon after, he netted a fine solo goal in a win over NEC Nijmegen following a surge from his own half.

Across the campaign he registered three goals and three assists in 971 minutes, operating mainly on the right wing. With the transfer now permanent, Porto have bid farewell and wished him success as he continues his career in the Netherlands.
