Felipe Loyola is very close to a move to Italy, with Pisa pushing to sign the Independiente midfielder. The Chile international had been monitored by Benfica in previous windows under Rui Costa.
According to Glorioso 1904, Pisa have lodged a 7 million euro bid for 70 percent of his rights, with a 4.5 million euro option for the remaining 30 percent. Talks are said to be advanced.
Loyola did not feature in Independiente’s friendly against Everton the previous night, a sign an exit could be imminent.
The 24-year-old is a key figure for the Argentine club and can also operate at right-back. Alongside Benfica, Bayern Munich and Juventus have tracked his progress. Even so, his next step appears likely to be with Serie A’s second-bottom.
The package could reach around 11.5 million euros. In 2025 for Independiente he played 41 matches, 31 in the Primera División, seven in the Copa Sudamericana and three in the Copa Argentina, across 3,235 minutes, scoring nine and assisting four. He is valued at 8 million euros.
