Fenerbahçe reach N’Golo Kanté agreement with Al-Ittihad | OneFootball

Fenerbahçe and Al-Ittihad have reached an agreement for the transfer of France international midfielder N’Golo Kanté (34) to the Turkish Süper Lig side, according to L’Equipe. The 2018 World Cup winner was under contract with the Saudi Pro league side until the summer of 2026, and his contractual situation has put several European clubs on high alert.

Fenerbahçe pounced and quickly agreed on personal terms with Kanté. The Champions League winner with Chelsea in 2021 made a return to European football a priority to bolster his chances of making Didier Deschamps’ World Cup squad with France next summer. 

L’Equipe adds that Al-Ittihad and Fenerbahçe reached an agreement on Sunday which valued Kanté’s remaining months with the SPL side at €4m. The outlet understands that Fenerbahçe’s Youssef En-Nesyri will join Al-Ittihad as part of the deal. As for Kanté, he’s set to sign a two-and-a-half-year deal with Fenerbahçe.
