Presidential hopeful Hakan Safi is reportedly leading a push for Salah, presenting an ambitious project and a lucrative contract.

Rival contender Aziz Yıldırım has not ruled it out, acknowledging the financial scale and saying, 'If there is a need, we will get him'. He added the club would mobilise resources for a player of Salah’s stature.

Salah is said to be weighing options before the upcoming World Cup, looking for competitive prestige and a central role.

Fenerbahçe are also revisiting Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman, with the Atalanta forward understood to have come close to joining during the winter window.
