FIFA will present championship rings to the winners of the 2026 World Cup, with a limited run also offered to fans. The federation announced the initiative in a statement on 16 July 2026.

Borrowed from US sports such as the NBA, the rings are intended to embed that tradition in world football. On Sunday, the winner of Spain against Argentina will wear the jewellery to mark their title.

Each ring will feature the FIFA World Cup trophy on one flank, with the opposite side customised to reflect the identity of the champions.

The collection will total 2,026 numbered pieces. The champions will receive 30, while the remaining 1,996 will be sold globally as an officially licensed product for supporters. Pricing has not yet been announced.

Provisional rings will be presented after the final, with official, correctly sized pieces to follow at a later date.

It is the first time FIFA has offered rings to World Cup winners, though France’s 2018 squad gifted themselves commemorative rings, an idea led by Paul Pogba.
