In the final match of the regular season of the current ADMIRAL Bundesliga, our Red Bulls will face SK Rapid this coming Sunday 8 March 2026 at 17:00 CET (all matches on Matchday 22 will kick off simultaneously). The Green and Whites are playing for their spot in the championship group.

The team coached by Johannes Thorup practically have to win against us. A draw would only be enough for Rapid if SCR Altach doesn't beat Sturm Graz. For us, it's not just about finishing the regular season with a win, but also about starting the championship round top of the the table with as big a lead as possible. The first Austrian Klassiker of the season in Salzburg lived up to its billing once again. Amid a wild rollercoaster of emotions, our lads emerged victorious with a 2-1 win.
This time, the atmosphere will be unique, as Rapid's two stands behind the goals will be empty due to the disturbances during the Vienna derby, including the West Stand. Our away section is, of course, unaffected. Tickets for the away section are available as usual at the ticket point in front of our section.
Supporters not able to attend can follow the action on Sky Sport Austria.
The disappointment from the cup was naturally there – that's normal. We've since analysed that match very clearly and honestly and are convinced that we've learned some important lessons from it. Now our entire focus is back on the Rapid game. There's still a lot at stake for us in this final match of the regular season, because every single point is crucial for the championship group. We can prove on Sunday that we're capable of dealing with setbacks and finding the right response.
Daniel Beichler
Everyone knows that matches at Rapid are usually hard-fought. The fact that there's so much at stake for them makes Sunday's game even more intense. Our aim is to secure another three points to finish the regular season and improve our position going into the championship group. We have to be fully focused, fight back, and play with concentration and aggression.
