According to CalcioMercato, Fiorentina are closing in on the return of Radu Dragusin from Tottenham on a loan with an obligation to buy.
The proposed terms are a €1.5 million paid loan, with an obligatory purchase set at €17.5 million at the end of the season.
The move would reunite the Romania international with sporting director Fabio Paratici, who took him from Genoa to Tottenham in 2024.
Dragusin progressed through Juventus’ academy and Next Gen, making his first-team debut at 18 in the Champions League against Dynamo Kyiv in December 2020. He totalled 232 minutes for the club before loans to Sampdoria, Salernitana and Genoa.
In Liguria he helped Genoa win promotion, earned a permanent deal and impressed in Serie A in late 2023 and early 2024. Tottenham then won the race ahead of Bayern Munich.
His Premier League spell proved challenging, with a serious knee injury restricting his opportunities. A return to Italy would offer a reset, and the obligation clause indicates Fiorentina’s long-term commitment if the season unfolds as expected.
