Celtic made it through to the quarter finals after an impressive performance in the 4-1 win over Falkirk at Celtic Park last night. Meanwhile Thistle – who are managed by former Celt mark Wilson, comfortably saw off Scott Brown’s Ayr United with a 2-0 home win to earn their place in this afternoon’s draw.
It’s another home tie for theRangers after they just made the 4-2 scoreline respectable with a late strike to kill off the Clackmannanshire side’s decent challenge. Russell Martin’s side will now play either Livingston or Hibs.

Kilmarnock or Dundee United will have a home tie against St Mirren who today knocked out Hearts in a penalty shoot out. Cheer up Derek. In the last quarter final out of the hat Aberdeen got a home tie against Motherwell.
The Kilmarnock v Dundee United and Livingston v Hibernian are the final last-16 games and both will be played tomorrow with all four sides well aware that they have avoided the big Glasgow sides, Celtic and Partick Thistle.
