Jamal Musiala continues to work hard for his comeback at FC Bayern. The international has made an early start at the Säbener Straße training ground
Jamal Musiala is sending out a clear signal at the start of the new year. The 22-year-old is the first FC Bayern professional to return from the winter break and has already begun his individual program at Säbener Straße one day before the official start of training. While his team-mates will only begin their brief preparation for the competitive match against VfL Wolfsburg on 11 January on Saturday, Musiala is already working intensively on his comeback
The attacking player wants to play a role again as soon as possible after his serious injury in the summer. During the Club World Cup, Musiala suffered a fractured fibula and a dislocated ankle and was out for months. His ambition to get back on the attack in the new year and gradually return to his old form is correspondingly high
On Friday, Musiala first completed a longer session at FC Bayern’s performance center, where the main focus was on stability and strengthening exercises, which are crucial for further development. In the afternoon, the international then returned to the pitch for the first time, where he completed an individual session

Musiala had already reached an important milestone in December, when he was partially integrated into team training for the first time and made it clear that his comeback was getting closer. With his early start to the new year, the Bayern star has once again underlined how consistently he is working on his return – and that he wants to play a decisive role in Vincent Kompany’s team again as soon as possible.
