The Palmeiras thrashed Vasco 3-0 on Wednesday night (1st) at Allianz Parque and found their way back to winning in the Brazilian Championship after stumbling over the weekend against Bahia. In a first-half showcase of attacking prowess, Flaco López (twice) and Vitor Roque secured the three points, with all goals scored in the first 45 minutes of the match.

After the match, the duo of the moment spoke with the press on the field exit and commented on their recent performance and expectations for the end of the season.

Asked if they could have imagined this moment and the duo doing so well at Palmeiras, both responded:

Flaco López:

I never would have imagined, I'm happy that it's working out. We train a lot and work hard for the team. It's the result of the group's work.

Vitor Roque:

It's a pleasure to play with such an incredible player, he has helped me a lot, today it was two goals and one assist for me.

The strikers were asked if there is any goal target with the involvement of the duo until the end of the season.

Flaco López:
