Flamengo academy goalkeeper Léo Nannetti to train with Brazil in the United States | OneFootball

Globo.com reports that Flamengo youth goalkeeper Léo Nannetti will join Brazil’s delegation in the United States to train with Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. The Seleção face France on Thursday and Croatia next Tuesday.

Nannetti started all five of Flamengo’s matches at the Under-20 Libertadores, which concluded on Sunday, when the Rio club lost the final on penalties to Santiago Wanderers of Chile. He arrived in Panama City on Monday, then travelled straight to the United States.

The 18-year-old will work alongside the three goalkeepers called by Ancelotti, Bento of Al-Nassr, Ederson of Fenerbahçe and Hugo Souza of Corinthians.

He will also have another chance to train under goalkeeping coach Taffarel, a Brazil great regarded as one of the country’s finest goalkeepers.

Nannetti previously joined Brazil sessions at Granja Comary in September last year. He made his senior Flamengo debut this year and started the first three Carioca matches, which were played by the under-20 side. In 2025, he trained regularly with the first team.
