Flamengo have agreed the sale of 20-year-old centre-back Da Mata to Konyaspor of Türkiye, and he has travelled to sign his contract.

Konyaspor will pay US$300,000, R$1.5 million, for 70% of the defender’s economic rights, according to Coluna do Fla.

Flamengo currently hold 25% of Da Mata’s rights, with Grêmio owning the remaining 75%. When he joined, Flamengo paid no fee but held an option to buy a further 50% for €1 million, R$5.3 million, which was not exercised.

Da Mata arrived at Flamengo in 2024 and featured in 80 games for the under-20s, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.

He made his senior debut in 2025 against Bangu in the Carioca, playing a brief spell as Flamengo used a reserve side.
