According to Coluna Do Fla, Brazil have called up four Flamengo players, Danilo, Alex Sandro, Léo Pereira and Lucas Paquetá, and 18-year-old Léo Nannetti will also link up with Carlo Ancelotti’s group in the United States.

The under-20 goalkeeper will join the delegation for training during Brazil’s preparation for the tournament. He is set to stay with the group from the start of camp until the Seleção’s final match.

A Flamengo academy product since the age of eight, Nannetti has made more than 300 appearances for the club at youth level and completed his development at Ninho do Urubu. The 1.93m stopper has been closely monitored by the national team staff and already has youth call-ups.

He expressed delight and gratitude at being involved at a World Cup, describing it as a chance to evolve as an athlete. He aims to learn from his inspirations, make the most of the experience, then return to help Flamengo.

This is not his first involvement with the senior set-up. Nannetti joined friendlies last year and impressed 1994 world champion Cláudio Taffarel, now on the CBF coaching staff, who highlighted his strong potential and professional bearing for his age.
