The squad are due back at 9:30, Brasília time, at Ninho do Urubu.

Attention now turns to the Carioca semi-finals. Flamengo host Madureira in the second leg on Monday at 21:00, again at the Maracanã.

Filipe Luís’s side hold a 3-0 lead from the first game, although defeat by three would take the tie to penalties.

The state championship is Flamengo’s last chance to lift a trophy in the first half of 2026, after runners-up finishes in the Supercopa do Brasil to Corinthians and the Recopa Sul-Americana to Lanús.
