Flamengo ‘to propose’ 32 million euros for loan of Botafogo’s Danilo

Flamengo are monitoring Brazil international Danilo and have presented a proposal to Botafogo via intermediaries.

Estadão reports the figure discussed was 32 million euros for a loan and that it is not an official offer.

Palmeiras are also interested, with Abel Ferreira’s side signalling a 34 million euros proposal for the Botafogo midfielder.

At present, Danilo is considering a return to European football. He had been in talks with Nottingham Forest in England, then returned quickly to Brazil to sign for Botafogo.

With the transfer window yet to open, Flamengo remain focused on immediate tasks. They face Estudiantes, of Argentina, at 21:30 Brasília time at the Maracanã in the Copa Libertadores.
