Flamengo top Série A derby goals ranking this century after 2-1 win over Botafogo

Flamengo strengthened their lead among Série A clubs in this century’s derby goals ranking with a 2-1 win over Botafogo on Sunday 15.

Coluna Do Fla highlights the milestone. Flamengo now sit on 403 derby goals this century, a margin of 58 over Chapecoense on 345, with Fluminense on 338, Vasco 323 and São Paulo 319.

Goals number 402 and 403 were scored by Lucas Paquetá and Erick Pulgar respectively. Barboza found the net for Botafogo.

Their Campeonato Carioca last-four opponent will be Madureira, after the suburban Rio club beat Boavista 2-1 in the other half of the draw.

Before that, Flamengo travel for the first match of the Recopa Sul-Americana on Thursday 19. They visit Lanús (ARG) at the Estádio Néstor Díaz Pérez, kick-off 21:30 Brasília time.

ESPN on pay TV and Disney+ via streaming will broadcast the Recopa tie.
