Florentino Perez may be keeping his cards close to his chest when it comes to Real Madrid’s interest in Michael Olise.
During a lunch with the Bayern bosses (Jan-Christian Dreesen and Herbert Hainer), the Real Madrid president remarkably didn’t mention the French international.
The former Crystal Palace wide man was in great form in FC Bayern’s 2-1 Champions League win against Real Madrid, setting up Harry Kane’s lead-doubling goal in the second half.
If Perez does have a plan for Olise this summer, it seems Bayern Munich won’t hear about it much before the window opens!
“The lunch between the bosses (Florentino Perez, Jan-Christian Dreesen and Herbert Hainer) was also a very exciting thing. They went to Restaurant Zalacain- a very expensive one, of course! It was at the invitation of Perez,” Christian Falk exclusively informed CF Bayern Insider.
“I wondered whether Perez, Dreesen and Herbert Hainer (FC Bayern president) were discussing the interest in Michael Olise, and whether the Real Madrid chief would have asked if there was any price Bayern would be prepared to accept for the Frenchman. I can tell you: not one word on the subject!
“Perhaps Perez has a secret plan that he doesn’t want to share with his Bayern counterparts just yet. But in the meantime, he didn’t even try to bring this topic to the table.”
The La Liga giants’ interest in the winger is, of course, well-documented this term.

However, Bayern have made one thing absolutely clear all season: the ex-Premier League star is not for sale! That’s regardless of the money on the table, as Michael Olise doesn’t have a release clause in his contract.
You can forgive Florentino Perez for being even more resolved to try and bring the France international to the Bernabeu in the summer.
After Manuel Neuer, the 24-year-old was the standout star of the quarter-final first-leg clash, outshining even the likes of Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe away in enemy territory.

But it’ll take some doing for the likes of Madrid or Liverpool to prise Olise out of Munich this summer.
