Foden Gets 9, Savinho With 8 | Manchester City Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Huddersfield Town

Manchester City locked horns with Huddersfield Town at the Accu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a victory on the road in the EFL Cup. Pep Guardiola’s men made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 18th minute when Phil Foden found the back of the net. Man City managed the game well and got to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Savinho doubled his side’s advantage in the 74th minute as the Mancunian giants earned an impressive 2-0 win away from home.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 6.5/10
He was a threat at times going forward and was mostly untested defensively.
CDM: Rico Lewis – 7/10
Lewis anchored the midfield well and made two key chances in the final third.
RW: Oscar Bobb – 7/10
He made a few promising runs with the ball but has got nothing to show for his efforts.
CM: Phil Foden – 9/10
Foden was a constant menace in the final third and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.

The Spaniard caused some headaches for the opposition defenders and was replaced in the 82nd minute.
