Folarin Balogun will be available for the USMNT's Round of 16 clash against Belgium after having his red card overturned by FIFA.
Balogun was shown a straight red card in the United States' Round of 32 tie against Bosnia and Herzegovina, after landing on Tarik Muharemovic's leg following an ariel challenge.
FIFA officials had initially said the United States would not be able to appeal the controversial decision.
However, FIFA have now confirmed the USMNT striker's automatic one-match-suspension has been overturned, just a day before the match against Belgium.
The 25-year-old is a key player for Mauricio Pochettino's side, scoring three World Cup goals, including the opener in the win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Naturally, his return will be a welcome sight for Pochettino and USMNT fans alike.
