Former Barcelona youngster hints at desire to return | OneFootball

Ex-Barcelona starlet Jan Virgili has this week admitted that he would struggle to turn down the opportunity to return to the Spotify Camp Nou.

Winger Virgili for his part departed Barcelona on a permanent basis last summer.

With his first-team prospects dwindling in Catalunya, and interest mounting in his signature from across La Liga, the 19-year-old opted to link up with RCD Mallorca.

And Virgili’s time at Son Moix has since proven to be largely positive.

From his berth on the left flank, the youngster has showcased numerous flashes of his explosive potential, giving rise to an impressive haul of six La Liga assists.

Such exploits have given rise to murmurs that Barcelona are keeping a close eye on Virgili’s development, still boasting 50% of the attacker’s playing rights.

Speaking during an interview with Diario Sport this week, Virgili himself was therefore asked for his thoughts on a potential future Blaugrana reunion.

And the Spaniard did not hesitate in admitting:

”Well, if Barça called me, it would be hard to say no…”
