Former Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Marcel Lotka to join Fortuna Düsseldorf | OneFootball

RP Online report that 2. Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf are expected to tie up the signing of former Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Marcel Lotka (24) on Wednesday, assuming that the Pole passes his medical examination.

Lotka’s time at Borussia Dortmund came to an end after three years following a decision not to extend the player’s contract beyond the summer. During his time at the Signal Iduna Park, Lotka found himself in the matchday squad on 41 occasions, including 25 times in the Champions League, but failed to make a single appearance for the first team.

With 84 appearances for Borussia Dortmund II, Lotka kept 24 clean sheets following his arrival from Hertha Berlin, where he played 10 times in the Bundesliga which aroused the interest of die Schwarzgelben after he kept two clean sheets.

Fortuna Düsseldorf are also expected to complete the signing of Christian Rasmussen (22) from Ajax for a reported €1.5m today.
