Milan midfielder Adrien Rabiot admitted to mixed emotions after the goalless draw with Juventus at the Allianz Stadium, describing the clash as “emotional but frustrating” given the missed opportunities to take all three points.
It was Rabiot’s return to the Allianz Stadium, after joining the Rossoneri from Marseille in the summer. The 30-year-old spent five years at Juventus between 2019 and 2024 and this marked his first game back in familiar territory since he left the Bianconeri last year.
Speaking to DAZN, with quotes via PianetaMilan, the Frenchman said:
“It was an emotional night. I know many of the players at Juventus, the stadium, the staff, even coach Tudor… I was really happy to come back here. I wanted to win, but that’s football – we’ll keep going with our journey.”

Rabiot acknowledged that Milan failed to make the most of their chances, with Christian Pulisic blazing the ball over from the penalty spot early in the second-half. The Rossoneri had several good opportunities to score and their finishing was lacking. However, in fairness, their opposition were struggling with the same issue.
“I’m angry because we should have won. We had opportunities but something was missing. We have to do more and improve as a team. It’s only the start of the season, but winning here would’ve been important.”

He also reflected on what Milan lacked tactically:
“We didn’t use the depth enough, and in front of goal, we have to be better – final passes, shots, second balls, aggression. The point is okay, but we could’ve done more to win.”
