Foot Africa has it on good authority that former Kaizer Chiefs defender Yagan Sasman is currently training with Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Black Leopards.
The 29-year-old utility player has been unattached since July 2025 after parting ways with Casric Stars at the end of last season.
In addition to the Soweto giants, Sasman also turned out for Ajax Cape Town and Moroka Swallows in the South African topflight.
Furthermore, he had a brief spell with Swedish third division club AFC Eskilstuna during the 2023/24 campaign.
Now, a well-placed source close to the matter has informed this publication that Sasman is under assessment at Leopards in a bid to impress head coach Mabhuti Khenyeza.
However, Foot Africa understands that no final decision has been made on the player's future as he is yet to be offered a contract.
Meanwhile, the Limpopo-based team sits at the bottom of the second tier standings, having accumulated 10 points from 13 league outings.
