AC Milan’s scouts are constantly active across the European football scene, and a young talent in Sweden has reportedly caught their eye.

According to Fotbolldirekt (via SpazioMilan), Milan are interested in BK Hacken starlet Omar Krajina, a midfielder born in 2007. He has not yet made his debut with the Gothenburg side, but is attracting the attention of many prestigious European clubs because of his performances with the Under 19s.

Milan’s scouts were apparently pleasantly surprised by the promising talent, so much so that they urged the ownership to seriously consider the possible investment. In fact, the Rossoneri are seriously considering testing the waters to understand the feasibility of the operation.

The Diavolo are said to be ready to present an initial offer to Hacken to try to secure the services of the young jewel. At the same time, the player has also aroused some interest from Fiorentina, but they are ‘slightly behind’ Milan in the race.

Regarding the transfer rumours, Krajina himself spoke to Fotbolldirekt and he was frank about his future, insisting that he is only focusing on getting into the first team.

“I know there is international interest, but right now my focus has to be on Häcken. So my focus is on Häcken and developing my game as much as possible. What is my dream? To take it one step at a time and of course play as high as possible and start by joining the Häcken A team.”

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported yesterday that Milan had a scout present at the game between Olympiacos and Bodo-Glimt in the Europa League to watch two other teenage talents.
