Foundation supporters set for the Glasgow Kiltwalk | OneFootball

With the Glasgow Kiltwalk set to take place next weekend, a host of Celtic FC Foundation supporters are preparing to take on the challenge and raise vital funds in support of our work.

Among those taking part will be Darren Connolly and Dan Seery, two friends who’ll be taking on the challenge.

Both Darren and Dan participated last year, and were inspired to participate once again, this time, in support of Celtic FC Foundation.

Darren said: “We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the 2024 event and it was very well-organised. It's probably something that we'll do annually now and hopefully rope a few more friends into it.

“Being supporters of the club was the main motivation to raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation. When we looked a little further into what the charity does, we were amazed by the scale of the Foundation’s work being delivered.

“From the Paradise Recovery Cafe to the Lions’ View Sensory Room, there really is a great deal of help on offer to everyone.

"If our contribution can go some way to help support the Foundation’s initiatives and the individuals attending, then it will be a pleasure to raise not only funds, but hopefully also raise awareness too.

“We are pleased to play a small part in helping the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the community. We feel that it is really important to be as inclusive as possible and give opportunities to those who need some help, and that’s exactly what the Foundation does.”
