Brentford head coach Thomas Frank has given an update on Mathias Jensen, who missed the Bees' 4-0 against Leicester City in the Premier League on Friday night.

Jensen, who has made four substitute appearances in the last four games, was unavailable for the west Londoners' trip to King Power Stadium.

Frank revealed. “He's got a minor adductor injury, unfortunately.

“Wednesday [against Everton] will be too soon, but we’ll see beyond that.”

On the win, Frank added: "It was a very, very good win, of course. It's difficult to win in the Premier League, difficult to win away from home, and the way we did it 4-0 is very impressive.

“We did what we didn't manage to do last weekend against West Ham in the first half, which was more or less killing the game off.

“It was very impressive, the way we went forward, we look so dangerous with our front four; the runners of Kevin [Schade] and Bryan [Mbeumo], but also [Yoane] Wissa and the creator in Mikkel Damsgaard behind.

“On the flip side, I think it’s a big praise to the defence for keeping another clean sheet - that's a team thing, of course - but the back four did well.

“And when we needed Mark, that situation against Jamie Vardy... sometimes in a game you need a good goalkeeper!”
