Taking the reins at Tottenham was always likely to be a tough job for Thomas Frank - but his new side's tendency to shoot themselves in the foot is certainly not helping the Dane.
Spurs fought back twice to claim a 2-2 draw at Newcastle midweek, but Frank finds himself under pressure after an inconsistent run of results that has seen them win just twice in their last 11 games.
Tottenham host Frank's former employers Brentford this Saturday, and the former Brondby coach will want his side to cut out the defensive mistakes that have plagued them so far this season.
Currently, Spurs top the charts in the Premier League for errors leading to an opponent's shot - with the north Londoners giving up 19 shots courtesy of their own sloppiness.
At the other end of the spectrum are Frank's old club. Under new head coach Keith Andrews, the Bees have maintained their defensive resilience and, in contrast to Tottenham, Brentford have committed only four errors leading to shots this term - the fewest in the top flight. Level on points, the margins are likely to be tight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Brentford's in-form striker Igor Thiago is primed to capitalise if Tottenham err at the back this weekend.
