From Barça to PSG, Dro Fernández explains his move

Barely unveiled by Paris Saint-Germain, Dro Fernández broke his silence to shed light on the reasons behind his departure from FC Barcelona. After a handful of appearances with the Blaugrana first team, the 18-year-old midfielder has opted to embrace the Parisian project, convinced by the promise of a well-structured, long-term development plan.

In his first interview with PSG’s official website, the young Spaniard made it clear his decision was carefully considered.

"I’m very happy, very excited. It’s a moment of immense pride for me and for my family," he explained.

"I made the decision to keep growing as a player, and I truly believe there’s no better place to continue developing than here," he added.

Impressed by the club’s focus on youth under Luis Enrique, Dro Fernández now sees himself thriving in a highly competitive environment. He’s fully aware of the fierce competition in midfield, but is convinced he’s found the perfect setting to take his game to the next level.
