Fulham welcome Nottingham Forest to Craven Cottage on Monday night, desperate to put their Carabao Cup heartbreak behind them.
Marco Silva’s side suffered a stoppage-time defeat to Newcastle in the quarter-finals. Now, they must refocus on the Premier League to ensure they don’t slide further down the table.
The hosts have an excellent home record against Forest, having won all three of their Premier League meetings at the Cottage.
Furthermore, Monday nights have been kind to them recently, with victories over Wolves and Brentford in their last two such fixtures. Silva will hope this trend continues despite a depleted squad.
Marco Silva is navigating a difficult period with three key players departing for the Africa Cup of Nations. Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, and Samuel Chukwueze are all unavailable. This forces a reshuffle in both defence and attack. Jorge Cuenca is expected to come into the backline, while Kevin could start on the wing.
In midfield, Saša Lukić is a doubt with a groin injury but could still feature. Harry Wilson will be a key figure; he has six goal involvements in his last four league games. Up front, Raul Jiménez is expected to lead the line. Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Muniz remain sidelined with thigh injuries.
Fulham predicted XI: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Cuenca, Robinson; Berge, Lukić; Wilson, Smith Rowe, Kevin; Jiménez
The Premier League fixture takes place at Craven Cottage on Monday, 22 December 2025. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 GMT.
The match will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League. Coverage starts at 19:00 GMT.
