Gabigol is closing in on Santos' 21st century top three scorers after moving to 90 goals for the club.

Diario Do Peixe reports that he is three shy of Ricardo Oliveira's 92 for third place this century. The striker netted twice in the 2-2 draw with Mirassol in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.

Neymar leads the ranking on 152, with Robinho on 111 and Ricardo Oliveira in third. Gabigol sits next, having this year moved past Kléber Pereira, who scored 86 for the club.

Back for a third stint, Gabigol has made a positive start, starting regularly and wearing the armband in recent games.

In 2026 he has played 10 matches, scoring six, four in the Campeonato Paulista and two in the Brasileirão, and adding two assists.

He rejoined in January 2026 on loan from Cruzeiro, a deal running until 31 December 2026. Santos cover about 70 percent of his wages, with Cruzeiro paying the remaining 30, and there is an option to buy plus bonuses tied to goals, Brazil call-ups and trophies.

The forward has also targeted 100 goals for Santos, a personal aim he outlined at his unveiling.
