Galatasaray beat Fatih Karagümrük 3-1 at the Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadı to stay top of the Süper Lig, with Gabriel Sara striking in the first minute and again after half time.

Sara swept in from the centre of the box in the first minute after Ilkay Gündoğan's pass. Baris Kalaycı equalised for Fatih Karagümrük with a tidy finish from a set piece (27.), assisted by Sérgio António de Luiz Junior.

Aslan pushed before the break, with Ilkay Gündoğan firing over (33.) and Abdülkerim Bardakci heading just high (37.). Davinson Sánchez then had a header blocked (49.) as the visitors turned the screw.

After the restart, Sara glanced in a header from Roland Sallai's cross (51.). Moments later, Victor Osimhen thumped in Gündoğan's delivery from close range (55.) to give Aslan daylight.

Ivo Grbić kept the score down late on, saving from Abdul Kader Moussa Kone (78.) and tipping over a header from Eren Eren Elmali (87.).

Aslan controlled the game with 64.1% possession and a 90.4% pass completion. Fatih Karagümrük were repeatedly caught by the line, flagged offside seven times.
