Galatasaray strike early to stay top in Ankara

Galatasaray beat Gençlerbirliği 2-1 at Eryaman Stadyumu to remain top of the Süper Lig.

Mauro Icardi opened the scoring in the second minute, finishing from the centre of the box after a Yunus Akgun pass. Akgun then doubled the lead with a close-range finish from Gabriel Sara's ball (35.).
