Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has recently revealed fresh details regarding the future of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, currently playing for Atalanta Bergamo.

Romano specified on his official X account that the Super Eagles star is among the top candidates to join Galatasaray during the upcoming winter transfer window.

He added that Lookman is not the only player on the Turkish club's radar, as other teams are also keen on the Nigerian talent.

Romano concluded his tweet by stating: “A player to watch, with a possible transfer in 2026.”

It's worth noting that Inter Milan showed strong interest in Lookman during the last summer transfer window, but Atalanta refused to let their striker go, demanding financial conditions that were too high for the Nerazzurri to secure the move.
