Galatasaray ‘to sign’ Burnley midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu on loan with option | OneFootball

Süper Lig champions Galatasaray are closing on Burnley midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu after reaching an agreement in principle on a structured deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 22-year-old is set to sign shortly following a breakthrough with the English club, with the overall package valued at just under €30 million.

The proposal is an initial loan carrying a €two million fee. It includes a buy option of around €25 million to €26 million that would become mandatory if appearance and performance conditions are met.

Ugochukwu has given the green light and agreed personal terms with the Rams Park hierarchy. His representative is travelling to Istanbul to complete paperwork and oversee the final sign-off.

The former Rennes midfielder wants regular minutes under Okan Buruk, bringing a powerful, combative presence to midfield. Subject to medical checks in Türkiye, an official announcement is expected in the coming days.
