Galatasaray ‘to target’ Manchester City’s Omar Marmoush to partner Victor Osimhen | OneFootball

A Spor reports that Galatasaray are targeting Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush to partner Victor Osimhen following Mauro Icardi’s departure.

The Turkish champions have entered the race for the Egypt international amid an anticipated reshuffle at City under Enzo Maresca. City reportedly value the 27-year-old at £52 million to £70 million, so Galatasaray are exploring a loan move.

Marmoush has 16 goals and six assists in 61 appearances for the Premier League side, and is expected to be among the exits during the summer overhaul.

Competition is strong, with Tottenham Hotspur said to be preparing a formal offer, and Atletico Madrid viewing him as a top target should Julián Alvarez leave the Spanish capital. Aston Villa, Barcelona and Juventus are also monitoring his situation.

The report adds that Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders could also depart the Etihad, with Galatasaray and Atletico Madrid interested. Galatasaray’s window has been relatively quiet, with Lesley Ugochukwu joining on loan from Burnley and Mario Lemina signing a two-year extension.
